CONGRATULATIONS to Ridge and Ryder Brooks for winning The Farmers State Bank Annual Halloween Costume Contest!!!

Farmers State Bank provided our community’s children with safe trick-or-treating fun on Friday October 30th from 3-6 pm. We also held our second annual costume contest. So the kids could stop by and grab some candy while showing off their Halloween costume for a chance to win $200!!!

Our costume contest generated over 1374 FaceBook Likes and 216 shares from Family and Friends who voted on the winners. With 347 Facebook Likes, Ridge and Ryder pulled in the first place spot and won $200. Jaycee Grinstead gathered 277 Likes for second place and received a $100 prize. Third place went to Emma and Addison with 147 likes and they went home $50 richer.

With hundreds of comments about the contestants and their costumes, Facebook was buzzing about the contest over the Halloween weekend as the deadline for voting ended Monday at lunch.

Farmers State Bank  ( Jim Brantley & Ben Knight ) teamed up with State Farm agent John Mark Butler and Jack Dean to win the Easter Seals – Century 21 golf classic. They shot an impressive 15 under par to claim the coveted overall tournament champion spot. Not only is Farmers State Bank the best bank in town, it appears we have some pretty stellar golfers as well! Way to go Jim & Ben!
